Doug Pecarski is the CEO of Simply Discover, bringing a long-standing career in software engineering and product leadership to the design of platforms for eDiscovery, compliance, DSAR, and high-volume data migration. With deep experience building and operating large-scale data systems, Doug works hands-on with teams and customers to solve complex information challenges—creating software that is robust, auditable, and designed to run securely within customer environments.

His focus is on turning complex compliance and investigative workflows into software that is simple, fast, and intuitive, and on applying practical AI in ways that deliver real, defensible governance outcomes.

Wayne van Ry

Wayne is an Engineering Lead at Simply Discover, bringing over 20 years of software engineering experience across government, finance, security, and archive sectors to the design and delivery of data migration and archive solutions.

He brings deep expertise in data residency, migration, and ownership, leading the Archive Product and guiding customer implementations. In doing so, he helps organisations understand, own, and manage their data simply. His focus is on enabling customers to leverage their information in near real time while maintaining full compliance with data sovereignty and regulatory requirements.

His approach to complex data challenges mirrors his passion for sailing: prepare, plan, execute, and monitor, always ready to adapt when external factors shift, with the preparation to handle whatever comes.

He operates at the intersection of product, sales, and customers, translating technical capability into outcomes that resonate with legal, compliance, and risk leaders. Dan leads product-led selling, enterprise demonstrations, and use-case development across eDiscovery, DSAR, compliance monitoring, secure data exchange, and large-scale archive migration.

He loves to make complex technology usable and relevant, with a strong focus on practical AI: demonstrating how Simply Discover shortens investigation timelines, reduces regulatory exposure, and replaces fragmented tooling with a single, defensible system.
