The following article show how you can create the required Mimecast API Credentials for Simply Discover.
Mimecast as a source
Simply discover is able to consume Mimecast archive data for analysis. In order to import the necessary data attributes, some configuration is required through the Mimecast Admin portal.
Once you are in the Admin Console, follow these simple steps.
Click Services.
Click API and Platform Integrations.
You'll see the Mimecast API 1.0 box, click Generate Keys for that API.
We'll be generating the V2.0 keys later.
Nearly done. Now complete the form with information like this and click Next.
Now fill in the technical contact details with your details and click Next.
It's nearly time for that coffee break. You'll now see a summary of what we have done, but you'll have to wait 30 minutes to generate the Keys, but we have a couple of steps we can get done before coffee. Click Add.
Now you'll see an off canvas page that has some important information in it. We'll grab these bits and then go for that coffee. Copy the Application ID and the Application Key.
It's time ... as you can see from that screen shot, you'll have to wait 30 minutes to get the Keys created.
